Register
- Click SIGN IN TO MY EBSCOhost.
- Click I'M A NEW USER and fill in the fields.
- Click SUBMIT.
Log In
- Click SIGN IN TO MY EBSCOhost.
- Follow screen directions and click LOGIN.
Perform Search
- Click ADVANCED SEARCH, then perform search.

RSS Feeds
- Click orange CREATE RSS FEED ICON in results for bar.
- Copy the SYNDICATION FEED link.
- Click EDIT ALERT if you want to change settings.
- Click OK.
- Open your feed reader and paste the Syndicated Feed link. Example: in Bloglines (www.bloglines.com), click on MY FEEDS/ADD, paste the copied link into BLOG OR FEED URL box, click SUBSCRIBE.
Saved Searches
Save Search History (to rerun later)
- Click SEARCH HISTORY/ALERTS.
- Click box of desired search.
- Click SAVE SEARCHES/ALERTS.
- Fill in boxes on screen.
- Select SAVED SEARCH (PERMANENT).
- Click SAVE.
Use Saved Search History
- Log In.
- Click FOLDER.
- Click SAVED SEARCHES.
- Click RETRIEVE SAVED SEARCH for desired search.
- Click RERUN under Actions.
Modify Saved Search History
- Log In
- Click FOLDER.
- Click SAVED SEARCHES.
- Click box by desired search history and DELETE ITEMS.
- OR, Click RETRIEVE SAVED SEARCH.
- Click REVISE SEARCH.
- Follow Save Search History (to rerun later) instructions.
Email Alerts
- Log In.
- Search.
- Click SEARCH HISTORY/ALERTS.
- Click box of desired search.
- Click SAVE SEARCHES/ALERTS.
- Fill in boxes on screen.
- Select ALERT.
- Fill in boxes.
- Click SAVE.
Modify Email Alerts
- Log In.
- ClickFOLDER.
- Click SEARCH ALERTS.
- Click EDIT ALERT to change formatting; RETRIEVE ALERT to revise search, or click box by search and DELETE ITEMS to delete alert.
RefWorks and EndNote
Use software's References/Add new Reference Features to copy and paste parts of citation into appropriate fields.
