What is EndNote Web
EndNote Web is a web based version of EndNote which is free to campus users courtesy of UW-Madison Libraries. It's basic features allow undergraduate students to organize their references for citing in papers. Professional researchers and graduate students can use EndNote Web as the perfect complement to EndNote.
What is EndNote
EndNote for Windows or Macintosh is a citation management program which you can purchase with an educational discount from DoIT or the UBS Digital Outpost
With EndNote you can:
- Create a personal research database and organize references, images and PDFs
- Import citations from online databases as you search
- Format bibliographies instantly while you write
- Share information with other EndNote, ProCite, Reference Manager or RefWorks users
