Art show celebrates creativity of library staff

August 17, 2012

The annual Library Staff Art Show shares the talent of University of Wisconsin-Madison library staff with the UW community. Started in 2006, the art show is sponsored by the Staff Development Committee and all current library staff and retirees are eligible to enter.  This year there were ten artists showcasing almost twenty different pieces of artwork with a wide range of mediums including photography, papier mache, wire sculpture, jewelry, oil painting, and more.

A well-attended reception was held on Tuesday, August 7 so that library staff could meet their fellow artists, congratulate them and ask questions about the artwork. Make sure to stop by the lobby of Memorial Library to view the current exhibit which runs from August 6 through August 31.

The following artists have works featured in the show:

Rene Croushore
Angie Hoffman
Karen Lebouton
JoAnne Lehman
Erin Lorandos
Andrea Rolich
Bob Shaw
Micaela Sullivan-Fowler
Leia Verfuerth
Sheila Zillner
