Exploring the Wisconsin Science Festival: Ask a Science Librarian

September 26, 2012

The Wisconsin Science Festival opens September 27-30 at venues across the state. To celebrate, we’re highlighting a couple of university library-related events and exhibitors with a special series called Exploring the Wisconsin Science Festival.

Got a burning science-y question? Ask-a-Science Librarian!

As you wander the exhibits and exploration stations at the Wisconsin Science Festival this weekend, there’s bound to be science-y questions that strike you. When that happens, make your way to the Ask-a-Science Librarian table in the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery!

Librarians will be available Thursday & Friday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. They’ll help you learn how to use online science search tools, databases, and more – so you can keep exploring long after the science festival is packed up.

As a bonus, the Ask-a-Science Librarian table is where you can pick up a free new Bucky READ poster!
