Exhibit Opening & Reception for Mosaics and Memoir: Marjorie Kreilick and Allan McNab

September 17, 2013
Kreilick-McNab

The Kohler Art Library unveiled a new exhibit this month devoted to the work of a talented couple, Emeritus Professor Marjorie Kreilick and her late husband Allan McNab called Mosaics and Memoir: Marjorie Kreilick and Allan McNab. The exhibit features a sampling of mosaics and other artwork made by Kreilick, whose work incorporates marble inlay and sculptural elements. These pieces are blended into a showcase of the posthumously published memoir Witness to an Ending (Parallel Press), a look into 20th century people and events that changed the world from McNab’s time in Europe and America. The exhibit includes a selection of engravings and book illustrations from the memoir.

An Exhibition Opening, Reception and Book Signing will be held at the Kohler Art Library on September 27, 2013 5:00-7:00 p.m. UW Madison Parallel Press will be selling copies of Allan McNab’s memoir Witness to an Ending at the reception.
