Ebling Library‘s Curator and History of Health Sciences Librarian, Micaela Sullivan-Fowler, told us in an interview, “A huge source of joy for me is being involved with the Health Sciences Student Art Show. We’ve had woodworking, glassblowing, watercolor, sketching, photography, oil painting, acrylic, fabric work, jewelry, you name it. We set up the library like a gallery, totaling to nearly 300 linear feet of space, which is really quite ambitious.”

On opening day, Ebling Library hosted a reception for the artists and their families. The art show gives students a chance to express themselves from a different side of their brain, and has been a popular event every year since it began in 2006.

This year’s artists include Theo Howard, Beth Magnan, Trista Stankowski-Drengler, Brad Hobart, Raisa McArtor, Anthony Wheeler, Kathryn Berndtson, Jordan Peschek, Michelle Katz, Trisha Pedone, Andrea Jones, Greg Farver, Nathan Zapolsky, Kathryn Pearcy, Sabrina Hilton, Krista Jo Carlson, Kelly Schultz, and Elizabeth Abbs. Congratulations to all!
