The University Archives acquired a fascinating diary, written by UW alumnus Chandler F. Young and his brother, entitled “Seeing the British Isles in 1929.” Read and view highlights from the diary on “Found in the Archives,” the department’s Tumblr. The acquisition was made possible by a grant from the Friends of the Libraries.
