Moving Citations from JSTOR Databases into RefWorks

In a JSTOR Database

Importing One Citation

  1. Click EXPORT THIS CITATION under citation in search results or in upper right of ITEM VIEW.
  2. Click REFWORKS.

OR

Importing Multiple Citations

  1. Click LOGIN in the upper right of screen and then REGISTER to create a MyJSTOR account if you do not already have one.
  2. Click LOGIN in the upper right of screen to login to JSTOR if you already have a MyJSTOR account.
  3. Click in the box(es) to the left of desired citations.
  4. Click SAVED CITATION(S) above search results.
  5. Click SAVED CITATION(S) in the upper right of screen.
  6. Click in the box(es) to the left of desired citations or SELECT/UNSELECT ALL.
  7. Click EXPORT CITATIONS.
  8. Click REFWORKS.

In RefWorks

  1. Login to your RefWorks database if you have not already done so.
  2. Your citation(s) will automatically be imported into the LAST IMPORTED FOLDER.
    You may view the records or move them to the folder of your choice.
