Preservation Operations and Services

Preservation services are available to all libraries of the General Library System (GLS). Other campus libraries, reading rooms, and departments, as well as individual staff, may inquire about the availability of fee-based preservation services. Preservation staff may accept non-GLS work if time allows and may also refer you to other service providers.

If libraries have identified large bodies of material that require preservation treatment, please consult with preservation staff about possibilities for extra-budgetary funding. Grant funding and other special allocations permit more focused work and more rapid completion of special projects.
