UW-Madison users must first register for a PitchBook User Account using your UW (@wisc.edu) email address.

Already have a PitchBook User account?

Users must re-register every academic year. Click Create an Account.

UW-Madison users who have already registered for a PitchBook account with an @wisc.edu email address should use the UW Libraries’ PitchBook Permalink to sign in.

First-time UW-Madison Users: Registration Instructions (required)

  1. Use this link to Register. Off-campus users may be asked to first login with their UW-Madison NetID, after which you will be taken to the PitchBook Platform registration page.
  2. Click on Create an Account
  3. Fill in your information in the registration form: First Name, Last Name, UW (@wisc.edu) email address then click Create.
  4. Check your @wisc.edu email for a “New User Sign Up” message from ClientServices@pitchbook.com .
    • Be patient – it could take up to 10 minutes for the email to arrive.
    • In the email click the personalized link  to continue setting up your PitchBook account.
    • Check your @wisc.edu email for a new message “You’ve successfully changed your PitchBook password.”

Once you’ve registered, you can access PitchBook via the UW Libraries’ PitchBook Permalink, where you must sign in with your PitchBook Username (your @wisc.edu email address) and the password you chose.
