Finals Events at College Library

Candy, giveaways, shout-outs and visits from Bucky – every semester the staff of College Library organizes a series of events to ease the stress of finals for our student patrons. In conjunction with the Open Book Café, the Wisconsin Union, GUTS, and the Office of the Dean of Students, students are able to look forward to the following events:

Monday, December 14

• “Study Strong – Helen C.” bracelet giveaway
• “Strength in Numbers” chain – write down your shout-outs and create a chain of good will
• Submit shout-outs electronically for display on College Library’s Web site

Tuesday, December 15, 7:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

• Free Coffee, Tea, and Hot Chocolate from the Open Book Café and the Wisconsin Union

Wednesday, December 16, 12:00 -8:00 p.m. (while supplies last)

• Free food for GUTS Study Day, sponsored by the Dean of Students Office

Thursday, December 17, all day

• Web-cam Shout Outs

Friday, December 18, starting at 12:00 p.m. (while supplies last)

• Candy/Emergen-C Giveaway

Saturday & Sunday, December 19-20

• Weekend Surprise(s); stop by College Library to find out what’s in store for diligent studiers

Monday, December 21, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 midnight

• Study Strong/Be Strong with Wii Fit and other games, 1st floor center
