Student Award Recipients

College Library recognized the efforts of all of their student assistants with a 70s-themed party on Thursday, May 3.  Singled out for special recognition were Colton B. of the CMC and Rachel V., who works at the Circulation Desk, both of whom received the “Excellence-in-Service” Student Award. Colton, who helped organize the printing of hundreds of posters by students participating in the Undergraduate Symposium, also “exemplifies good public service in the Computer and Media Center, treating all patrons with respect and professionalism.”  Rachel’s supervisor noted, “Whatever task Rachel does, she does it completely and competently.  She is extremely hard-working and I wish I could clone her!”

We congratulate both Colton and Rachel and commend all of our students assistants for their hard work in making College Library a welcoming and efficient undergraduate library.
