Four New Study Rooms at College Library!
Over Winter Interim College Library reconfigured several spaces and is pleased to offer four additional rooms for private group study. Located in 2nd floor center and 3rd floor center, the rooms can be reserved using a NetID for up to fours hours per week with the library’s online reservation system. Although the new study rooms are not yet equipped with computer monitors, they do have tables which seat four comfortably and are furnished with white boards for group work. As the semester progresses, technology and furniture will be upgraded. As with all of the other study rooms in College Library, the following policies apply:
- Reservations are limited to 4 hours total per person, per room, per seven day period.
- A study room reservation can be made up to 14 days in advance.
- If you would like to make a reservation that repeats throughout a semester, please submit that request online or directly to the respective library.
- A group that is more than 15 minutes late forfeits the reservation.
- Study rooms are intended primarily for group use. Individuals can reserve a study room when they need a more private space to practice a presentation or participate in an online discussion.
- Groups not associated with the University should contact the individual library help desks for information on getting access to these rooms.
- Although the group study rooms are a more private space, they are not sound proof. Please keep the noise down so as not to disturb others.
- Food and/or drink are allowed in specified rooms provided that the food or drink are not messy. Clean up the room before you leave so that it is ready for the next group.
- Study rooms are only available during hours the library is open.
- No sleeping.
The room numbers are: 2203, 2205, 3215, and 3217.
