Back to the Finals!
Thursday, December 12: Reclaim childhood and go “Back to Square One.” Students can enjoy old-school games (Clue, Sorry, and Twister), toys (Pick-up Sticks, Slinkys), and coloring pages in the library. And, it’s the final day of online voting for our Retro Photo Contest. [The most “liked” photo from every retro Facebook album will advance to the next round.] 1st Floor Center.
Friday, December 13: Celebrate the last day of classes with “Caffeine-fueled Time Travel” from Open Book Cafe’! Get free regular coffee, tea or hot chocolate, courtesy of the Wisconsin Union, from 7pm to 2am, and enjoy a simpler, more carefree time. Room 1250. Saturday, December 14: “Back to the Books” From noon until midnight, GUTS tutors are available on study day to help with all your last-minute tutoring needs. They’ll have free coffee and treats for those receiving assistance. Sponsored by ASM and the Division of Student Life. 1st Floor Student Services Area.
Sunday, December 15: “Back to the Bucky” What’s Wisconsin without its favorite badger? Students can dress flat Bucky in their favorite outfit – from band uniform to tuxedo – and then snap a photo with the stylish mascot. Post a picture on Instagram with the hashtag #studystrong to share your creativity with others! 1st Floor Center.
Monday, December 16: “Back to Beagles (and more)” with a library visit from the therapy canines of Dogs on Call. Re-connect with the childhood joy of playing with puppies from 4-5:30 pm today. Courtyard and 1st Floor Center.
Tuesday, December 17: “Back to Buttons” with College Library’s button-maker. Make your own image or use one of our retro designs. Create a keepsake to look back on with pride. 1st floor Center.
