The UW-Madison Libraries annual Book Madness bracket tournament is now underway with 64 books vying to see who will be crowned champion. Check out the display on 2nd floor to see all of the titles and to complete/submit a bracket.

“Regions” include On the Road, Home is Where the Heart Is, Throwback, Contemporary, Fairy Tales, The Real Deal, Future Tense, and Past Perfect, all carefully selected by campus librarians. Also new this year, participants can see how their bracket ranks against featured VIPs like Bucky Badger, Dean Berquam, Chancellor Blank, and Mayor Paul Soglin.

Staring March 19th, participants vote on their favorite books throughout the tournament, twice a week. Winners will advance to the next round until the final winner is crowned early in April as UW-Madison Libraries’ Favorite Book!

Players can print out a bracket or pick one up at one of the following locations: The University Book Store, Madison Public Library, and most UW-Madison Libraries. Players must return a printed out, completed bracket to one of these locations by March 17th or they won’t be eligible to win this year’s prizes of $100 or $50 in University Book Store gift cards.
