Pumpkin Contest

For the 17th year, College Library is pleased to sponsor the Great Pumpkin Contest! Guess the weight of the large pumpkin next to the Info Desk (to within a tenth of a pound) and you could win $100.  The pumpkin, which is provided every year by our esteemed security officer, J.D., was weighed just before arriving at the library. While on display, we ask that participants refrain from touching, lifting, or “taunting” the pumpkin. Each guess can only be the result of a visual assessment.

To enter the contest, email your guess-timate to Bruce by midnight on Saturday, October 31, 2015. The winner will be announced on Sunday, November 1.

UPDATE: The winner of the Great Pumpkin Contest submitted a guess of 143 lbs. He was off by a smidge from the actual weight,  142.3 lbs. Look for more details soon.
