Human Library Event

The UW-Madison chapter of Student Veterans of America organized a “Human Library” in Room 1193 at College Library on Thursday, November 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. Nearly 900 UW–Madison students are veterans or currently serving in the military. Several of them participated in the event, which encouraged visitors to “listen to student veterans as they share their stories of military experience.” The evening was organized by junior Enrique Peña, a Marine Corps Reserve member from Muskegon, Michigan. Peña is an officer with the UW–Madison chapter of Student Veterans of America, the campus student organization which organized the second annual event.
