Finals Success at College Library
As the only library at UW-Madison dedicated to serving a population (undergraduates) rather than a subject or discipline, College Library strives to support its patrons during the stressful exam period. Working with campus partners and one very popular set of volunteers, students are able to take advantage of a number of events which may help them survive (and even thrive) during final exams.
- December 10 – Write Now: The Finals Countdown – 6-11:30 p.m.
- December 12 – Wisconsin Alumni Student Board (WASB) Hot Chocolate Giveaway – 4-7 p.m.
- December 13 – Open Book Regular Coffee/Tea/Hot Chocolate Giveaway – 7-11 p.m.
- December 14 – GUTS Study Day – 12-4 p.m.
- December 18 – Dogs on Call – 3-5 p.m.
- December 19 – Button-making (while supplies last)
In addition to these scheduled events, the library has a snowflake-making station and will be putting out coloring pages as a stress-relieving activity. The colorful results help enliven the 1st floor when darkness falls early.
