Upcoming Event: UW Madison Gender and Women’s Studies turns 40! October 23-24, 2015

In 2015 the Gender & Women’s Studies program at University of Wisconsin-Madison turns 40 and you’re invited to pause and reflect with them on their history, their present, and their future. With much to celebrate and much to think through for the future, we hope you will join us to share this exciting moment.

On Friday, October 23, the GWS Librarian’s Office will celebrate the GWS program’s 40th and honor our long partnership with them with a grand reopening from 1-3pm in our newly-renovated space in Memorial Library, Room 430. Beginning at 4pm that afternoon, GWS will have a reception and opening words in Sterling Hall. Saturday October 24 will include a full day of academic programming followed by plated dinner and dancing at the nearby Pyle Center. Registration is open! http://www.genderandwomensstudies.org/
