Frank Thayer Alcove

The Frank Thayer Alcove is the JRR’s group study and meeting space. It is set up to create a collaborative work environment for classes, group study sessions, meetings, and presentations. The room contains:

  • 3 conference tables
  • 10 chairs
  • Wide screen monitor
  • Podcasting station

The JRR has a table equipped with a RodeCaster II podcast soundboard and four microphones and headphones for audio recording sessions. Users can connect the board to their laptops and/or cellphones to record or to include additional participants via phone call or video chat.

Anyone using the Alcove may connect their laptop to the wide screen monitor or RodeCaster soundboard. For assistance, please ask at the circulation desk.
