Memorial Library, Room 126, 728 State St.
Mayrent Institute for Yiddish Culture Director Henry Sapoznik welcomes Bill and Bobbie Malone back to the Sound Salon series to discuss their respective latest publications. Bill Malone’s Sing Me Back Home is a collection of his significant article-length work from a variety of sources, including essays, book chapters, and record liner notes. Bobbie Malone’s Lois Lenski: Storycatcher is a biography of the beloved author and illustrator of children’s books, whose stories conveyed the lives of America’s hardworking rural folks. Tales will be told, and it’s likely some songs will be sung.
Mills Music Library is pleased to co-sponsor this event with the Mayrent Institute.
