Kanopy available again (partially)

When we announced the decision to cancel the UW-Madison Libraries’ subscription to Kanopy back in June of this year, we also mentioned we were working on a plan to replace some of the lost Kanopy content. Now, in the waning days of 2018, we are happy to announce Kanopy is available again to current students, faculty, and staff. The subscription plan doesn’t provide access to all of the 30,000+ films in the Kanopy database, but it does include the Criterion Collection (396 videos), Media Education Foundation Collection (157 videos), and California Newsreel Collection (152 videos).

Kanopy is back–in the Video list on the Database Library Audio / Video page, as well as on its own page within Database Library, and in Library Catalog. Access it via the link in one of these locations, and then you may stream the films from your preferred device.
