#Find UW Scavenger Hunt
Today, #FindUW, a social media scavenger hunt is taking place all over campus and across platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Foursquare.
The event is a fun introduction to campus social media, which is a go-to source of information for students and a fun way to engage in the campus community.
Individuals and teams can participate in the #FindUW scavenger hunt throughout the day. Start by following @UWMadison, @UWNewStudent, and @UWVIP on Twitter and watching the #FindUW hashtag. At 1 p.m., head to the first floor of Union South with a smartphone and look for the big #FindUW sign and red Bucky. When you tweet a picture with #FindUW, you’ll receive a clue to the next location.
For every picture an individual or team tweets, they will be entered into a prize drawing. Coveted prizes include a reserved study table at College Library and a reserved cage at Memorial Library.
More information on the scavenger hunt and how to participate can be found HERE.
The event is being coordinated by the Center for the First-Year Experience and Visitor & Information Programs along with University Housing, #UWSocial and University Communications and Marketing.
