Max Brooks, author of World War Z is coming to UW—Madison!
Worried about the impending zombie apocalypse? Just plain obsessed with zombies? The Wisconsin Union Directorate (WUD) presents the Distinguished Lecture Series “Max Brooks: 10 Lessons for Surviving a Zombie Attack.” Head to Varsity Hall at Union South on Tuesday, December 3 at 7:30pm to get some zombie survival tips from the expert of all things zombies and author of the New York Times best-selling book World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War (2007).

Max Brooks is considered by many to be one of the world’s foremost Zombie preparedness experts. According to the Office of Homeland Security, Brooks is the preeminent authority on dispatching the relentless, flesh-eating armies of Zombies that seem to be everywhere these days. The Zombie Survival Guide, Brooks’s first release, is your key to success against the hordes of the undead that may be stalking you right now. World War Z has now been made into a major motion picture starring Brad Pitt. The book tells the story of the world’s desperate battle against the zombie threat with a series of first-person accounts “as told to the author” by various characters around the world.
