About Ian Benton

I work with Reference (research assistance) and Circulation at College Library, including coordinating staffing for these services. I engage in work across UW-Libraries that bridges technical library operations with library public service work, and have a leadership role coordinating Ask a Librarian services (general library contact via chat, email, phone, or consultation). I teach and support introductory research techniques in any disciplinary area, and can facilitate connections to the UW-Libraries' many disciplinary specialists when needed.
