Visual Accessibility Aids

These materials can be requested for temporary checkout at the circulation desk of the Social Work Library.

  • Colored overlays: This pack of 8 plastic page overlays come in a variety of colors. They are intended to make text easier to read by reducing page and text color-related visual stress.
  • Magnifying bars: the library has a set of two bars. They can be used as document magnifiers or low vision aids, and are nice tools for reading small print. They provide a clear image, and help readers focus on up to two lines of standard text at a time.
