Special Exhibit Hours for UW-Madison Science Expeditions 2019
We’re delighted to be one of the “destinations for exploration” in this year’s UW-Madison Science Expeditions, the annual campus-wide open house that connects you to UW people and places.
We hope you will visit Special Collections during special exhibit hours on Friday, April 5, 5-8 PM, and Saturday, April 6, 10 AM-2 PM. Follow the signs in Memorial Library (728 State Street) to the 9th floor, where you’ll have the chance to view two exhibits:
- Aldo Leopold: Life, Land, Legacy, the first-ever large-scale exhibit of Aldo Leopold manuscripts from University Archives and Department of Special Collections, as well as items generously lent by the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology, College of Agricultural and Life Sciences
- Library of Stains Project, exhibiting results of an interdisciplinary project (led by Erin Connelly, Alberto Campagnolo, and Heather Wacha) applying the technology of multispectral imaging to medieval manuscripts from our collection and those of other institutions
Free and open to the public.
