New Exhibit: Italian History and Culture in Special Collections

We welcome you to our newest exhibit, Telling 100 Stories: Italian History and Culture in Special Collections.
In it you will find examples of early modern Italian paleography and 20th-century Italian fine printers, editions of Boccaccio’s Decameron and other works in various languages and from various eras, and scores of other manuscripts, printed books, maps, and pamphlets from our holdings of and about Italy. We have installed this exhibit in conjunction with the fourth triennial conference of the American Boccaccio Association to be held in Madison October 3-6, 2019.
Our exhibit area, like our reading room, is open Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
