Please note special hours for Special Collections during spring break for UW-Madison: open 1-5 PM, Monday-Friday, March 25-29, 2024.
We will resume our customary hours on Monday, April 1 (really).
In the spirit of spring, despite the chilly forecast for the beginning of spring break, the illustration above shows the front cover of Flowers from hill and dale (1883), a volume of poems arranged and illustrated by Susie Barstow Skelding.
