The National Agricultural Library has announced its newest digital exhibit featuring the research of esteemed scientist, George Washington Carver (c1863-1943). In addition to a biographical sketch and timeline of achievement, the digital exhibit is enriched by imagery as well as access to the full-text of 38 Tuskegee Experiment Station bulletins authored by Carver. Content of the site (Carver’s contributions to the scholarship as well as related publications) are organized by themes: crop development (sweet potatoes, peanuts, and more), farm management, homemaking, raising livestock, rural schools (how to incorporate agriculture and gardening into instruction) and soil productivity.
